So it will be a full year without a peep from the developers in two weeks. Can you please give us any information, hits, or even esoteric clues as to the future of this game?

You actually heard heard a peep? Where? I can't find it..
I fully agree with the one year part though.. I do believe that this game has been abandoned, but left alive to collect $$ from where it can be grabbed..

The peep was last October's update with the three new ships. Then week got the war economy nerf without the peep.

I see it now... I misread your earlier post.. Stupid me ;-)
