Rather than a flat 10 points for a win and reinventing the wheel, you should go with the ICF (International Chess Federation) rating rules.

When a 1000 player beats a 2000 player, the 2000 player loses 10% of the difference, and the 1000 player gains 10% of the difference. If the 2000 player wins, they gain 1% of the difference, and the loser loses 1% of the difference...

Right now, I get hammered continuously by Anton, Athletic, and Ahab (about the only ones that beat me consistently), and I lose just as much Infamy as if I had lost to someone with 1 ship and no parts...

I continuously beat LittleGirl, Kisinis, Victoria, and Dresden II, who all have higher ratings than I...So, something seems a bit off...

Given that they haven't unlocked the Bounty shop yet (which I'm guessing will be based on Infamy values)...who cares how it works at the moment?

Meh, I'm a perfectionist, and a bit of a math wog.

Right now, Ronny and Anton, whose Infamy eclipses 8000, pounds away on me, while my infamy rests right around 2000...

Just a bit annoying.
