* Update: Facebook Chrome Browser Issue (16 Apr 15)

Post by Mod_Nami » 16 Apr 2015, 05:20

This issue affects Chrome Browser users playing the Facebook version of the game.
Starting from Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90 m, users will notice that the game is disabled.

There is a temporary solution that will work until Sept 2015:
Step 1: Type the following command in your Chrome Browser:

Code: Select all

chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
Step 2: Click to enable NPAPI
Step 3: Restart Chrome
This will allow the game to still work in Chrome.

Alternatively, users can simply use another browser such as FireFox.

Meanwhile, we are also working on getting a HTML5-based version that will work on future versions of Chrome.

after the last update from chrome none of the games that use unity player works. if and when you update to the last version of chrome games that use unity player wont work anymore, and its up to the developer of each game to make them work

I believe that after entering the address in the address bar you may still be required to click on the toggle button relating to npapi to Enable it. Is that not so?

Yep, you will need to toggle it to Enabled.

You will also need to restart Chrome for it to take effect..

The latest version will have disabled even this bypass.

For the time being, players are advised to use another browser.
We will have a WebGL based version to have the game back on Chrome in the future.

We have been following the development for alternative to the Webplayer for Chrome.
This will be possible once Unity has updated to 5.3 and above.
