All ships' appearance similarities

Noticed that most of the ships got identical skins or designs. I wonder if there could be something related on their appearances, maybe like skill combinations or formations. (I'd like to see that :D)

Here's what I thought of some similarities: (based on colors, texture or design)

• Phobos > Deimos
  Caduceus > Ragnarok
  Vertigo > Monolith
  Elemental > Scorpion (?)
  Sentinel > Juggernaut
  Scylla > Photon (?)
  Radium Alpha > Osafune
  Thor's Hammer > Behemoth > Ahab's Revenge
  Goliath > ????
  Hyperion > ????
  Ellipse 1 > ????

(?) - uncertain, maybe a bit. lol
???? - probably new ships will come up soon?

Bonus:
Since Phobos and Deimos are quite similar, I come up with a "Super Skill combo" like a Cross-shaped attack (both line and row damage) lol.

well since they are from same faction XD they do have similar appearance
just as you go for behemoth and thor are from UEF i think it was?
i tough i had saw that vertigo was also blue at the start so it was UEF too
deimos and phobos seems like some kind of russian

caduceux ad same color as goliath before thei paint it in fould dark grey......etc etc....*fall asleep*
