Freezing on Dell Venue 8

I had the game crash and ever since that, the game freezes immediately after tapping when the player first loads up. It goes to a cutscreen and just stays there forever.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it's no help.

Did this happen in previous version of the games or after the recent version update?

I'd like to add another suggestion. It'd be nice if we could edit formations without having to go into a mission to do it. I think it would be much more convenient, and make it easier to make changes when we buy a new ship.
