How to unlock mechakaiju?

I remember unlocking the water temple but it's gone for some reason, already completed my quests there. :c

Have you completed the Diamond In The Rough quest? The one where you need 15 helpers or use 17 ocho to complete. You need to do this and you will then get a series of new quests which you need to complete. They all mainly involve moving to different areas of Corxas and then Jade to hunt for the right ship etc.
