This event will run from 11th to 13th March 2014 Server Time.

Every hour, clans have a chance to take control of an outpost and earn up to 50 ember!

To participate in the Outpost Skirmish:
- Travel to an outpost you want to contest
- Select an enemy clan to attack
- Select a target defender to attack (all members of the defending clan (controlling clan) will be available as targets, attackers from other attacking clans will also be available as targets)

The clan with the highest number of control points at the end of each hour will take control of that outpost.
A minimum of 500 control points is also required.

Earning Control Points:
- Sink an enemy, earn control points equal to the opponent’s (highest) level
- Damage enemy, earn control points equal to [opponent’s level * (damage % of opponent’s HP)] / 2

50 ember will then be distributed amongst the clan members based on how many control points they earned for their clan during that hour.

For example, player A and player B are from clan X.
Player A earned 4,000 control points and player B earned 1,000 control points at the Ore Pits. Clan X has the highest number of control points at the Ore Pits.
Player A receives 40 ember and player B receives 10 ember for contributing to the control of the outpost.

Note: Control points obtained are tied to the respective outposts
(e.g. control points earned at one outpost is not counted in another outpost)

Control of outposts are calculated every hour; control points are reset to 0 each hour.

3 Outposts and 24 hours in a day means 72 chances a day to get ember!

If after 1 hour finish & totally nobody attack the owner how come no get extra 50 ember? If nobody attack no any target to get minimum 500 pt.

It would have been much more intense if:

Each member of CONTROLING outpost clan would get 50 ember/h
Traveling to and between outposts would cost no energy DURING the event duration
Each 1k control points would give the owner an extra 1 ember.

That would make every single member join the fray.

Only issue I see with getting ember every hour is the "dead" times in SO where nobody is really active. Tyler would be handing out ember left and right for people to not even be logged in, or active. 3 hours would get you a Guillotine. And if a clan managed to keep control for a full day, they'd get 1200 ember. It'd completely ruin the balance of all of the ember items.

How about 50 Ocho /hr too while you're at it?
