This event will run from 23 to 31 Dec 23:59H Server Time.
<< HOW TO PLAY>>
The objective is the descend as far beneath the Maelstrom as you can. Your maximum "depth" achieved is also your score.
1. Travel to the Maelstrom during the event period (min level 20, travel cost = 0 energy).
2. Use the “Descend” commands to descend deeper into the Maelstrom.
3. To successfully descend, you have to encounter and defeat the “Depth Guardian” to move to the next level/depth.
4. If “frenzy” is active the encounter rate is doubled.
5. After you defeat a depth guardian you will descend 100 leagues.
6. You can redeem the corresponding prize for the depth that you've achieved.
Earn an achievement for reaching the top rankings!
Notes:
- If more than 1 player has the same points/depth, the player to achieve that depth first will be ranked higher.
- Travelling out of the Maelstrom will cost 5 Energy.
- Only 1 achievement per captain.
- Reach a depth of just 2,500 to get the Trident weapon! It can be used craft the Lightning Fork.
- Captains who wish to change their Imperial Cruiser ship guise (at 19,000 depth) for the previous Fathom Cruiser ship guise can do so by submitting a support ticket.
- At the end of the event, captains below level requirement for Maelstrom will be sent to a port that matches their current level.
- New Flying Turret Ship Guise and 2 x Captain Outfit!
