Edit: The event has been altered based on feedback and considerations for both strong and weak clans.
This change will allow low levels to contribute more in clan wars, while not capping damage for high levels.

The final damage dealt to a fort will be adjusted.
This will be done by adjusting weapon damage before combat starts.
This will be applied based on your damage after stats.

Example 1
Captain X’s weapons can deal 50,000 to 60,000 damage.
Captain X’s stats buffs the damage to 100,000 to 120,000 damage.

Calculation when Captain X attacks a fort with max HP 5,000,000:
- Average weapons damage = 100,000 + (120,000 - 100,000) / 2 = 110,000
- Maximum total damage = 110,000 x 3 Phase = 330,000
- Adjusted Damage to Fort = 176,667
- Per Phase maximum damage = 176,667 / 3 = 58,889 (Avg)

Hence, the effective damage of all weapons will be: 54,000 to 64,800 damage per phase

Example 2
Captain X’s weapons can deal 5,000 to 6,000 damage.
Captain X’s stats buffs the damage to 5,000 to 6,000 damage.

Calculation when Captain X attacks a fort with max HP 5,000,000:
- Average weapons damage = 5,000 + (6,000 - 5,000) / 2 = 5,500
- Maximum total damage = 5,500 x 3 Phase = 16,500
- Adjusted Damage to Fort = 72,167
- Per Phase maximum damage = 72,167 / 3 = 24,056 (Avg)

Hence, the effective damage of all weapons will be: 21,850 to 26,220 damage per phase

Example 3
Captain X’s weapons can deal 100,000 to 200,000 damage.
Captain X’s stats buffs the damage to 200,000 to 400,000 damage.

Calculation when Captain X attacks a fort with max HP 5,000,000:
- Average weapons damage = 200,000 + (400,000 - 200,000) / 2 = 300,000
- Maximum total damage = 300,000 x 3 Phase = 900,000
- Adjusted Damage to Fort = 366,667
- Per Phase maximum damage = 366,667 / 3 = 122,222 (Avg)

Hence, the effective damage of all weapons will be: 82,000 to 164,000 damage per phase

Note: The combat gains will be based on pre-moderated damage.
Hence, captains who deal high pre-moderated damage do not need to worry about getting less combat gains due to the moderated damage.
Additionally, captains who try to attack with very low damage weapons for their level will see the same reduced combat gains based on pre-moderation damage.
