Update: Clan Skirmish

Post by Mod_Nami » 27 Dec 2012, 08:53

This update is scheduled for release on 28 Dec 12 (Server Time).

Details:
Two clans will pit against each other in an 8 hours long skirmish.
Only a maximum of 30 clans members are allowed to participate in each skirmish.

Any clan member can initiate a clan skirmish!

Starting a clan skirmish will place the user's clan into a queue which will assign an available clan within similar ranking (if many clans are available, a high ranking clan will not be assigned against a low ranking clan). The time a clan will be in the Skirmish Queue is random.

Once one has joined the skirmish team, one CANNOT leave the skirmish team until the skirmish is over.

An available list of 30 members from the enemy clan will be shown to attackers.
The list of enemies to attack in the Skirmish Console are made by the following:
-By the amount of skirmish points they have
-Otherwise, list of enemies available will be your level+10 and below ONLY

There is no level limit in selecting an opponent to attack! Attacks made cost 10 AP Energy.

All captains can be attacked via Clan Skirmish ONLY under the following conditions:
-have joined the skirmish
-Not under PVP protection
-If their attacker is up to 5 levels higher
-If the captain is not already sunk

(If the above conditions are not met, attacker will meet red tagged version instead)

If you sink an opponent via Skirmish Console, if the opponent is within 5 levels of your own level, the sink will count towards your PVP wins total. No losses will be added from Clan Skirmish Combat

Sinking an enemy grants the user skirmish points equal to the opponents highest level. If not sunk, the user will obtain 50% of the percentage damage done to the enemy's ship multiplied by their highest level. For example, if the user attacks a level 100 opponent with 150k max HP and the user only did 50k damage to the ship (~33.3% damage), the user will receive 50% x 33.3% x 100 = 16 skirmish points (so it's best to try to sink one's opponent).

Skirmish Points from the opponent are removed based off 2% of how many skirmish points the user gains. The user cannot remove more skirmish points than the opponent has. For example, if 2% of the skirmish points gained is 40 and the opponent only has 20 skirmish points, only 20 skirmish points will be removed from the opponent.

A cooldown of 5 seconds is applied after each skirmish attack is made.

If a user sinks an opponent, a 20 minute cooldown is applied to attacking that same opponent again UNLESS the user sinks 4 other captains during said cooldown.

At the end of a clan skirmish, the clan with the most skirmish points from the match wins and all participants in the winning clan will be rewarded with 20% more skirmish points from the current skirmish to be added into the weekly ranking. For example,you have obtained 20,000 skirmish points from the current skirmish. Your clan won. 24,000 skirmish points are added to your weekly ranking instead of 20,000 being added.

Ember is rewarded every Monday at 0:00 Sios time and all clans' and users' skirmish points are reset to 0 afterwards.

A clan cannot start a skirmish 8 hours or less before Monday 0:00 Sios time (This is to be changed soon). Those in the queue at this time will also be removed from the queue.

If a user leaves a clan, all skirmish points obtained by this user is removed from said user and the user's previous clan.

Ember rewards are as follows:

Individual Skirmish Ranking:
1st place => 150 ember
2-5th place => 75 ember
6-10th place => 50 ember
11-50th place => 25 ember
else if a user has obtained at least 500 skirmish points => 10 ember

Clan Skirmish Rankings:
1-2nd place => 30 ember
3-6th place => 10 ember
7th+ place => NOTHING

Note: Clan Rankings ember rewards are added on top of Individual Ranking rewards.
To be eligible for the clan rewards, users must earn at least 1% of the Clan's Weekly Skirmish Points or 500 skirmish points for the week (whichever is higher).
