yes. i was the one with 5.1k aps and i used the low ap search too. but i think the 50 will work better because i spent so much aps on the 5 ap and got lots of no encounter within 10 searches XD

You can't, the event is part of the BS3.0 explore system.

Ed, just some add on info for you to add into the guide if you want to include in.

Tip:

1) Actually using 50 APs search when below 100 APs can trigger the frenzy mode 100%, Of coz using 3,4,5, 6 Ap search below 100 Aps can also trigger frenzy mode as well but if you are unlucky, you might use more than 50 aps to trigger the frenzy mode though.. :P

2) Players must redeem the prizes before the event end. You cannot redeem the prizes after the event end.

3) Try not to redeem the prizes during peak warring time or when the server seems laggy.

4) Buying ochos after 20th of April will not get the bonus APs unfortunately though although you can still get the 10% bonus ochos and etc.

Make sure that you have <100/500 AP in the then doa 50 search and frenzy will be auto activated. Then spam for 1200-1500 AP thats the standard click speed for 5 min of frenzy action...you lose time waiting for the ship to get back into position
