System error gave you 1kAP. Error was corrected and AP was removed. Talking about reporting this to any Business Bureau or a lawyer is pretty stupid. If your employer or government wrote you a check for 1k and accidentally added a zero to make it 10k, and you cashed it and said nothing... the employer or gov't has EVERY RIGHT to take that money back.

Anyway I may have found out the cause of this error, and I get why LL hasn't disclosed it yet, I facepalm'd badly.

I may have spent the APs received, but since I was under the impression they had been received for accumulating ocho purchase,I spent them in good faith.

I cannot be guilty of theft since i have not "intentionally" stolen anything.

However Tyler have now put me a position where I MUST purchase 100 ochos to clear a minus AP bank before I am allowed to receive any more AP's in return for my purchase. In other words you have, as a previous poster commented, created a debt for which there is no contract and which is therefore illegal.

Please put my AP balance back to zero imediately.

Actually, just to add my 2cents, you can't use that metaphor.

It's more like you went shopping for grocery, when you were paying the person receiving the cash gave you an extra aple straight into your bag. You ate it one week after, and two weeks after you went back to the store to find out you owed that store one apple that you would have to pay if you wanted to buy any more apples there.

tyler does not give money, its the other way around, we give money to tyler in exchange for a virtual non existent product ;)

Maybe. But I think to any reasonable person, they understand now that it was an error. If you have the -1kAP, you can say "I got free AP and I'm not going to purchase anymore again" and not owe shit. But if you would like to buy AP in the future, you're going to have to "fix your balance".

Common decency alone should be enough to say "Oh, now I see." But to demand this and that like it is your RIGHT to have this FREE AP that was an obvious error... is just irrational to me.

well, it sucks that my AP bank balance is negative now, especially since I already spent most of my ocho that I had on other things already, so I can't replenish it...
I thought it was just included in the promo as a bonus, I hadn't looked up what the promo for that month was on the DB when I purchased... *sigh*... just wish my AP bank balance wasn't negative. :(
ah well, devs here are much better than most games... if rebates come in soon, that'll certainly help!

totally agree there, mindless endless crying is never the solution :)

Me, fixed my balance and am snooping around!

LL (edited), take off the apple and put there some non rechargeable batteries, same thing still applies! actually, even better, because you really don't need to buy rechargeable batteries to survive, same for these aps!
