It costs a ton because none of its ingredients were affected by the price cuts.

12 aerial mine = 96
4 bomb sail = 60
Plasma Breath = 50

Megaton = 206 ocho

This in comparison to
CSB MK2 = 75
HERR = 75
HVR = 50
Flamberge = 105
Chaos Blades = 86
etc...

So I think the recipe needs revision. Maybe make it 2xbig bangs instead of 4? Or 3xBig bang but no PB needed?

But I know Tyler is watching my account to see if I get rid of my missiles. The moment I do they're gonna buff the shit out of them. So I'll hold on to them for a while.

No need to count the plasma breath, you can find a ton of mechakuji's just by browsing the facebook feeds :) I've got more of them then i actually need.

I've crafted my megaton missile a while back and had to pay those prices so unless Tyler rebates them i don't see a need to change. All of us had to pay 156 ocho to craft it and back then we could even loose some gold for failed crafting ;( To get a Pb, just hit mechakuji and deal around 10 - 15M to it!

but most of the recipe easy to get. got alot of aerial mines from wtc.

Same goes with the other weapons, everyone paid 250 ochos for CSB MK2 And 200 for DB, but with the recent prices the megaton missile seems totally expensive, they should reduce it like everything else.

Bomb sail should be GTC items for starters....been said time and again. But now its cost is at par with demon sail and pulsar rockets :P

I crafted it already....just noticed it while suggesting build to a clan mate. I dont think it is justified to ask for a rebate for everything :P

The recipe should be cheaper....don't care if we get rebate or not !

It is ridiculously expensive for its worth. For how much it takes to craft it, you'd think it would be pretty awesome. Not so. And it's supposed to be for non-ocho missilers to help them out.

Even if you have some components, you spend 100+ ocho on it which could buy you 4 CVRs instead !! The slowdown isn't uber, neither is the range.

I just checked and some of it's ingredients did get a price cut.
Aerial mines used to cost 10 ocho a piece. Ok the price cut is only 4% but a discount none the less.

When i crafted my megaton on 21/04/2011, at level 130, I had to do the following:
21/04/2011 Ocho Shop: 4 x Bomb Sail has been added to your hangar.
21/04/2011 Ocho Shop: 6 x Aerial Mines has been added to your hangar.
21/04/2011 Black Market: 106583 gold has been refunded for failed bid of Aerial Mines.
21/04/2011 Black Market: 106520 gold has been refunded for failed bid of Aerial Mines.
21/04/2011 (x2) Port Master: You have successfully crafted the Big Bang!
21/04/2011 Ocho Shop: 10,000,000 Gold has been delivered to you.
21/04/2011 Ocho Shop: 6 x Aerial Mines has been added to your hangar.
21/04/2011 (x2) Port Master: You have successfully crafted the Big Bang!
21/04/2011 Port Master: You have successfully crafted the Megaton

So i had to pay:
bomb sail: 4*15 = 60 ocho
aerial mines: 12*10 = 120 ocho
10M gold: 299 ocho
Plasma breath: was not buyable at that time so had to fight the boss
Grand total: 479 ocho
Total cost without the 10M gold: 180 ocho

Take the same ingredients as Manu:
bomb sail: 4*15 = 60 ocho
aerial mines: 12*10 = 120 ocho
Plasma breath: 50 ocho
Grand total: 230 ocho

That's still 24 ocho more then what you've to pay now.
Compared to the current weapons pricing it's steep but all who have the weapon payed about the same amount.

I do agree that the 4% price cut is on the low side and could be more. But then again i think it's part of only getting rammers into the game so all would choose a mecahic/scout build.

Aerial mines reduction is 20% from 10 to 8 ocho.
Never seen 10m gold = 299 ocho before. You got the rebate so at current rate its 100ocho
Overall price cut is ~12%. I guess the 4% is based on counting ocho cost for gold.

Also reminds me that plasma breath is 50 ochos in trade-in while SS is 65 ochos :P
