I remember the days before Ancient Battlegrounds and how the ones that were getting sniped were often bitching on the forum about it.
I remember farming the Black Bandits and Arcwhale quests for gold and rare items like El Toro Crests and Giga Drill Breakers.
I remember how Aeros was safe from sniping.
I remember iPod flooding the market with items.
I remember getting my Guardian Totem from the market and the guy that put it up was my mate mistaPikes.
I remember reading the Nicky and Marina drama before the thread was deleted.
I remember the ultimate demise of rawR! and the formation of Genesis.
I remember I bought 2 Giga Drill Breakers with the Ocho I got from my 1st referrals to craft Combo Breakers.

I could go on forever. :')

Feeling nostalgic while fort watching just now. Talking about the early early days of BS. Do any of you real old timers remember Reuben Kee that died in the dragon boat races of 2007? He was a top player back then. And a musician if I remember correctly, he did some of the early music for BS. I remember that no one wanted to over take him on the rankings... Sad day. Just remembering a fallen soldier.

Heard about that story. Gamblers disbanded as a tribute to him.

I remember when you got rare items from farming the arcwhale in Aeros ir the pirates in Corxas.
I remember when being able to travel beyond Aeros made you a god.
I remember when getting the elite travlers badge meant you had finished most of the quests.
I remember Vajra.
I remember when boss battles could have any number of people but only top 10 got chances at loot.
I remember when the time for the Apoc Golem was 24 hours.
I remember when everyone used CVR and anchored to attack cuz you were invincible.
I remember spending countless AP to mine for resources, and travel to Aeros to be snipe free.
I remember when tiers were decided by clan power.
I remember when they made the mining robots.
I remember when 120k HP was enough to survive the best Superweapon.
I remember when there were over 140 clans in sios and the Clan Purge began.
I remember how you could craft most your weapons without having to purchase items, cuz you could chance them in quests.
I remember when this game was a lot more pocket friendly.

By "pocket friendly" he means friendlier to Tyler's pocket.

I started playing 4 years ago then took a break to finish my final year of school. And by pocket friendly, I mean that most craft items and gold cost weapons were sufficient. Now adays, if you don't craft and ocho by level 75, you have almost no chance in PvP. Back then, ocho items were more expensive and gave an edge, but a well placed build could still fight against it and win. Now, if you dont equip black cannons and demon cannons and cannon maces, you have no chance sinking you opponent because those cannons are better then any other cannon until 30 levels later.

And yes I remember the prices being that high, then they lowered them as a Christmas special and then didn't raise them back up.
