I'm a rather older player, have been playing for years but not a very high level because I never ochoed. I have been considering ochoing lately, but from what I've seen the game has gone downhill pretty drastically over the past few years. Can't exactly say why, it just has. This is what is holding me back, I don't want to spend money if the game won't exist in a year, as in TYLER removes it from Facebook due to lack of funding. What is the chance of this actually happening?

If u buy, then less chance it happening. If all think like u, it will downhill faster.

U shud not worry it so much. As long as u r enjoy the game now, and want to ocho to enjoy it more for now & your budget allow, then is ok.
Even if u buy xbox or ps4 game, u can say u will keeping it forever, but will u playing it after 1 year? 2 year? For sure no. Even the console u will throwaway & buy new model.

I have tons of old games (5+ years old) that I still play every once in a while. They're never going to disappear, but I understand what you're saying. I'm more than willing to spend the money, I would just like it so that I can play this game for a few more years without having to worry if TYLER is going to call quits or not. Is there anyone here who knows how much money it actually costs to keep a game on Facebook? Even if they're aren't doing frequent updates, it's better than nothing.

Not sure about cost but from player point of view look like game still have many spender.
If u look the outpost skirmish, normal skirmish, crew event, normal clan war & special event, u can see many ppl spending more ap than the daily regen.
Maybe new player getting lesser, but the old player still keeping going :)

As hon says if you enjoy the game keep playing, if you want to ocho you can buy small amounts every now and then.this won't break your bank but help you out. This game will eventually die but it is one of the longer running online games and has some way still to go.

You can play bs through Fb directly and buy ocho through fb, or if you log in through gamebatte you buy g coins then convert over to ocho in the game. If you still use ochospace link to play bs you can buy directly through that also.
