My first though is that it'll stop fellow clannies from following each other to better pass defenders or having early warning of SW lane.

Hmm...
Possible to also stop scripts being run by lower rank spies to steal other clan's war log data?
If anything, this will require extra computation to filter the logs for lower ranks, so probs not for anti DDoS or anything.
Maybe it's for some new feature coming up that requires secrecy of clan actions?

There are 2 types of people who want access to the clan's logs, repairs, who's online etc:
1) ADMINS.
2) People like Gay Mirza and the Antonites (short for Ants and mites)

That's why they are banned or will be banned soon!! For cheating!!

If clans, like Hades, could stop running lots of spies to get their intel, the developers would not have to be spending time on "pointless updates" to reduce the benefit of spying.
