* Update: Skirmish Combat Rewards (21 Feb 14)

Post by Mod_Nami » 20 Feb 2014, 08:26

This update will take effect from 21 Feb 14 Server Time.

Defenders' level in skirmish will be based on their highest* captain level.
The defenders' will always show their highest level in the defenders list.

e.g.
Player A has 2 captains at level 200 and level 50.
Player A switches to his level 50 captain.
An opponent (Player B) picks Player A as a skirmish target.
Player B’s combat rewards (Exp/gold/Skirmish points) will be calculated as though he was fighting Player A's higher level class (i.e. level 200) even if Player A's active class is level 50.

* This refers to players with dual captains (have reached level 150 and above).

What about additional wins on those captains that their 1st class (main) are in our range but they are using their 2nd class?

1m exp for sinking level 257 and 280. 896k exp for level 268, 500k exp for level 255 , 876k for level 249, 672k exp for level 250. All of them are in dual. Better then before...

I think there's still a slight problem with this update. If the player is using their dual, they have less HP than you and so you receive a reduced amount of EXP than you would if you were facing their main ship. In this way, it still benefits people to hide on duals to discourage people from attacking them since it won't give that good of EXP. EXP received should be based on them using their main ship on their main.

Are you absolutely sure about this? Isn't the exp. also calculated from the level of the opponent and not just from the HP? To me it looks like I still get > 1 mil. rep if I sink an opponent 10 levels above me, even if he has his dual out?

Exp is based on dual's ship hp. The reason i get 500-600k exp is because their dual's ship less then 100k hp

I'm (almost) 100% sure it has to do with their level too.

EXP gains are based on 2 factors (as far as I know):

1. The relation between your level and the person you are attacking. So obviously, the greater their level is above yours, the higher EXP you gain. Vice versa, the higher the level you are in relation to them, the less EXP you gain.

2. This one is either the amount of HP your opponent's ship has or your damage output versus their's. Level's being equal, if your opponent has less HP than you, you'll gain less EXP from sinking them. So when players are on their dual in skirmish and you attack them, your base EXP gain will be based on Factor 1 but since they'll most likely have a significantly less amount of HP, your EXP reward will be greatly reduced.
