Minor Update: Skill - Charge!
What dafuq is this shit?
Now you have to go and rename it, cause the name it doesn't make any sense anymore.
And anyway why exactly this was done? Just another EvilTyler master plan to have people getting sabotage?
And most importantly, why it wasnt posted here in the DB? More evil ninja tactics? gg.

At least our damage to fort will not be reduced anymore, if Tyler decide to remove -10% dmg penalty from Armor Piercing.

Currently Pirate class has the lowest population, so Tyler is trying to promote Pirate class. As for Mechanic population currently is the highest.
Class Percentage
Soldier 21.2 %
Pirate 17.7 %
Mechanic 38.5 %
Scout 22.7 %

The only effect this will have is that Charge now has no meaning,
Attacker has Charge + Defender has Charge = No Charge. gg

mechs are popular because everyone is going fat and it is the most flexible class. wanna be a rammer, fine, put stats in nav. wanna be a gunner, ok, put it in gun. No need to change classes, just reset your stats. an all the skills are useful regardless of your weapon type: more armour, regain lost HP, deal more damage, hurt your opponant. All other classes are weapon specific a scout wont use cannons, a pirate and soldier wont use rams.

Mech is the most used class because as miggy said, its the most versatile one, so if ur main is not pirate, you go for a mech dual. So gunners are mech/pirate, rammers are scout/mech.
