^ Proposal for 5v5 "Clan War"
Matches 10 players who are online who want to war. System will try to match players of roughly equal level (+-10 levels). The system will assign players such that the sum of player levels on both teams are similar.
Assigns each team of 5 a temp fort (fort stats based on the average level of players, SW moves automatically).
Players whose level > than the average of the 10 players will have their stats reduced to meet the average.
Players whose level < than the average of the 10 players will have their stats increased to meet the average
A successful fort run does a flat amt of damage no matter what build you are using.

Nice, It's like tournament but then limited to 5 :)
How are the levels calulated? Does dual come into play if joined with dual class or is it just the level of main.
Also will this use up normal clan tokens or is a new system like skirmish and how often can it be trigered?

The concept of an always available clanwar has some appeal. But the proposal mutes the richness of the game to try and make it work. Appears challenging to make it work (properly assigning teams, effect of ap in tank, clan communication, etc...). A neat job would probably need some refinement and even then be rough around the edges. There is an introduction phase that normally takes place long before salvaging (for the major players).
As the teams are assigned, there is no opportunity for in-clan synergy. (ie. one guy is a good attacker and another is a good defender).
In regular clan war, I can look at who is online, who is the defending fort, and make some decision about what I want to do. (ie. WAR just finished sinking two newly salvaged forts within 50 seconds each and they are at almost full strength. It is just me and two other level 100 guys. Do I really want to salvage right now, or wait for BATS to sink them first?) There is no potential for judgement calls here.
It may be difficult to rate a seasoned, dual-class player with a well equipped arsenal. There was a time when we were rated against top clans based solely on the level of the CM.
Not necessarily against it, but it fails to excite. May be more appealing to less seasoned players with fewer options.

Of course it would be fun, The war could be more exciting if there's more clan that could participate the war.

What if players can join a "room", where they can chat for a while to settle who's defending and who's attacking... the level of the players that can enter the room is equal to +/- 5 levels of the room host/creator.
After everyone is ready, the room will be in a query, something like the skirmish.

as long as it does not replace the current Clan War system.
Also, why not implement the faction war system as mentioned in the past? Even turf wars on the map etc
