*we have "bent" the rules at times but not to gain an advantage within clan war or in game. We've done it to wind people up, to be bastards, and to sow discord, but never to get an in-game advantage.

If I were to, for example, promote some of the obvious spies in my clan to Admirals and let them run the clan for a while, turn a blind eye to some of the dubious actions they undertake and then revel in the glory of my newly-reborn clan, would I be able to get away with saying that I didn't know what was going on and expect to just see them kicked out of the clan as a punishment?

All I can see is win /win. I get rid of the multis and my clan gets more war gold and sinks.
