It is yes but much much more than that it is about the impression it gives to whoever is on the receiving end. I am not convinced that this kind of thing will bring any form of satisfaction to the clan which marsehole infiltrated.

Also, I don't think that's true Chris. A clan can be judge by just one action that a small group in that clan took part of. Examples like Mars, AOS, and probably others.

Double standards are fun! Like it or not, the outspoken people on the DB are assumed to represent what their clan is about. When Gips acts like a twat, people assume that is what Juggy is like. Same reason why Chris jumped all over Nikolaj, even though he wasn't in any of the screenshots "marsehole" posted.


IMO, Gary is pretty much spot on with his observations here.

Would have to agree with Gary and second that most people look at Juggs and see the ape. And that's pretty much all they need to know. I for example, would never join a clan he's in. I'm pretty sure the bias has been well established and it's been around a while. If the ape's in your clan, people will look at it differently. And not in a good way.

I would be the first to tell you about all the positives that Giphin adds to a clan, but Gary is also correct in that the shenanigans and trolling on the boards can be a true detriment towards opinions of a clan and recruitment. We had that in the past when one of the clans leading up to Juggs was full of board trolls and all it tends to do is attract the same type of trolls to the clan, while scaring away members or potential members who think that clan life is going to be full of that drama and nonsense.

Too bad it wasn't a personalized message, because those can be funny if done right. Unfortunately with the limits of the dialog box it is hard to do well, but it can be done.
