Ok, this DB is not posting my posts. Here is my second timer.
You can solve the multi-abuse issue by having TYLER confirm your ID via bank account or bank card. eBay, Amazon and PayPal already do this to cut down on THEIR multi-abuse.
Once this is done, all players that are confirmed can then partake on transactions such as giving gold to a fort, repairing a fort, sending Gifts, making bids, etc.
Also, stop exchanging gold for time, this causes inflation. Exchange gold only for AP through combat, war and exploring.
Problem solved.
You're welcome.

Oh, i understand the ills of poor coding all too well, but then why did they change the part names?

Not eliminate, just reduce it to reflect the new balance. No Peace Port, no extra AP cost. Also, since they decided to eliminate Port Location from Captain Profiles and kill hunting and sniping, shouldn't Ancient Battlegrounds lose their Peace Port status and special AP restraining ability? Maybe it would be better to turn ABG into the only place to war and open up Battle to enable sniping, it was so much fun.

Fair enough.

Lack of depth. Look at King Arthur 2, it is a strategy game that has a Conversation Tree ala Mass Effect. Classic RPG Conversation choices would put alot of depth in the game. Also, BS3 questing is painfully slow, the text is slow, the movements are slow, the splash achievements are slow, everything is very slow.

The top games do not have splash pages for this reason, i also had alot of bounces from my experiment with FB ads at the splash page.

Amazon and PayPal are all based on financial transactions. The majority of the players here play casually and many probably don't even have CCs or even a bank account ( <18). If you are forced to post this stuff to take part in major aspects of the game, they will probably quit.

They won't quit if the game is fun, they won't quit just because they can't farm gold.
Instead of a click fest, how about BS adopts a good ol' fashion combat element system? This will allow players to use their decision making skill and their prediction skill, or Yomi, and this is quite fun for many people. Use the theme of steam punk sky ships and you're good.
This is much better than "click and stuff happens", it needs to be "different things happen depending on what you click". For an example of this, think Pokemon, Final Fantasy and basically the vast majority of Strategy and RPGs.

If I had to enter in bank account information before I could access parts of the game interface, I would have quit. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Are you suggesting it should be changed back?

It was already nerfed by 10 AP I believe.

Thanks. Btw, BS3.5 doesn't require the splash page but it's not done yet. Just get rid of the splash page now right? Some redesign would be needed for the stuff that's on the splash page >> that's BS3.5

Ok, fine, then bank card info or PayPal account or something.

That's all the same thing. I would not have given credit card, bank card, paypal, certificiate of deposit, western union, or any other type of financial information to gain access to portions of the game interface.

If it's easier than months of coding the foundation, yes, unless there is some super important reason why the names were changed in the first place.

Nope. Still 30 AP from the closest location.

Because they WANT puppet accounts in order to inflate their numbers and impress their gullible investors and new players. Going against the grain here means credibility for BS and paired with a great competition system based on Yomi, it would stand in sharp contrast to the abuse-saturated opposition.

Ok, then you and your puppet farm can go somewhere else. How's that?
The benefits would greatly outweigh the cost.

I'm sure Tyler would rather have more paying customers than less paying customers.
