Petition for Ember Subs to be upgraded!

As a non sub user.

Its bad enough that you dont get a 1:1 return for your gunnery input on subs, (290% x 0.8 = 232%), 232% at a range of 300 or 600 is a pretty raw deal.

As a experienced sub user.

Its bad enough that you don't get the formula on the damage calculation,

For example, a gunner with 400 gun attribute,
Cannon damage is (400*0.5)/100+1 = 300% damage
Sub damage is (400*0.4)/100+1 = 260% damage

In other words,
Sub damage actually got 87% damage of cannons in this case rather than 80%

Guess their marginally better than I thought then, but I still think it is a raw deal that there is any difference in the damage calcs for sub and cannon.

when you equip subs together with missiles and/or cannons, its not as flexible when your just using full missiles or full cannons since subs cannons will most certainly affect your minimum range, taking away the versatility of your other range weapons.

what's the point of equipping cannons with 2000+ range, or missiles with 6500 range when you equip a subs with an average of ~500 range.

Gunner's most notable advantage over Rammer is its range, but if you are using subcannon, that takes away MOST of that advantage with a trade-off for damage.
