i suggest you make all other CLASS SPECIFIC SKILLS AVAILABLE TO ALL CLASSES what the f**k is the point o' having class specific skills if you are going to take them away?
Remove Soldiers Strafe always in range and turn it to 10%-25% Extra Range and put it no longer class specific.
With Overload being no longer class specific it's ruined. ALL Soldiers are SUPER FUCKING OPed by having Pre-Emp+Strafe....total bullshit

A soldier using Pre-emptive and Strafe is losing a shit ton of damage. If you can't sink them, you should probably fix your fail build.

Lvl 150 missiler with damage/volley of 150k (guessed, didn't bother to check)
After pre-emp his damage is: 120k/volley
AAAAAND, after strafe his damage is further nerfed to 102k/volley.
And being glassy fucks that they usually are, it doesn't leave much to play with. now does it?
And the fucking Pre-emp wont even fire 100% of the time :/

anybody with enough meat to take 2 hits from a soldier can load up missiles and take down soldiers even with pre-empt/focus fire/overload. or just use sabotage and missiles and soldier missiler is shafted. soldier missilers look like good defenders only on paper. this overload skill will probably only help soldiers for those ships tweaked to pass or sink the soldier def with some hp left, but otherwise they are definitely not OP.
